Residing in Portugal since 2018, Daphné Bugey made a conscious choice to embrace the country’s natural splendor and be in closer proximity to the mesmerizing ocean, which became a wellspring of inspiration for her latest creation. Endlessly curious about the world around her, Daphné perceives knowledge as an infinite source of creative fuel, resulting in truly captivating compositions. Joining forces, Claus Porto and the visionary perfumer embarked on a journey to pay homage to the sea, incorporating a “sea essence” within this distinctive line. Collaborating with Algaplus, a Portuguese company specializing in sustainable cultivation of seaweed species along the Atlantic coast since 2012, they harnessed the power of innovation and biologically certified practices to extract the star ingredient for Musgo Real Alto Mar: a revitalizing Bladderwrack extract derived from oceanic macroalgae. Infused with the ocean’s abundant nutrients, this seaweed extract takes center stage in all products within the Alto Mar collection, including the captivating Eau de Toilette and luxurious soaps.
Preserving the angular Art Deco design synonymous with the Musgo Real line, the Eau de Toilette bottle boasts a sophisticated retro-inspired black and gold spray for effortless and elegant application.
